Well its that time of year ago where you look at your squad and decide who you need for the following year. I will nip out and buy a striker, and a winger and be fine. Sadly this is junior football and that is not a luxury, so like the majority of other managers you have to wait till June 1st and then see who turns up and pick from what you have. This year we have been lucky to be graced by quite a few lads who haven't been registered and they are fighting for a place. The hardest thing is letting anyone go. The selection will not be made for a few weeks, but already when decisions have been made instead of letting lads hang on, we have decided to tell them now, to give them a chance to go elsewhere. It still isn't nice but on picking a squad what do we look at. I personally want to look at two things, 1. Can you win me a game? 2. Can you save me a game? I suppose a small extra bit is how do you fight for the ball as next year we are U14's and there were some big lads at U13's.

So it is case of now looking forward picking the squad and then getting on with it.
